Patrick Cambiasso Helfer aka Breathe2thebeat spent most of his 20’s and early 30s searching for his soul’s purpose, feeling quite disconnected to himself and others, and lacking direction in life. Facing many tribulations and adversity he was fired from 3 different jobs, had two failed businesses, accumulated debt, experienced countless failed romantic relationships and lacked community.

Challenges in life led him on a spiritual path. A thirst for adventure and healing led him to Peru where he immersed himself in the Andean and Amazonian shamonic ways and practiced plant medicine. It was here where he had deep healing and found inner peace.

Patrick became isolated in solitude away from his family and friends returning to his home in New Hampshire on what intended to be a 6 week trip which turned into almost a year due to the covid-19 pandemic. Meditation gave him peace and calmness during these uncertain times. But it was the power of his breath that really set him free! He took a 21 day course with a wellness school called SOMA Breath which awakened his soul to his true purpose. Patrick became a SOMA Breath Certified Instructor and started sharing the practice with others. His vibe attracted his tribe and he started to build community by teaching breathwork classes.

Today Breathe2thebeat actively teaches in and around the sunshine city of Saint Petersburg, Florida just outside of Tampa. Breathe2thebeat has taught at yoga retreats, music festivals, and regularly offers workshops collaborating with sound healers, djs, and yoga instructors. He also works for SOMA Breath and has signed up almost 100 new instructors so far in 2021. Please reach out to him if you are interested in becoming an instructor!

Patrick's intention is to bring community together and help others open their hearts, and to find more peace and joy in their lives. He believes that if we focus on expanding our consciousness as individuals, we can then have a change in the collective to create a paradigm shift in an evolved world filled with peace, love, and unity living in commune with mother earth.

What is Soma Breath?

SOMA Breath is a holistic wellness school with over 1200 instructors worldwide and a community of thousands of SOMA Breath practitioners. SOMA Breath teaches a range of different healing modalities including breathwork and breath therapy, meditation, music therapy, ayurvedic system, emotional healing methods, shaking/dancing, and functional isometric training.
